A daily publication that never corrects anything is not careful, it is unaccountable. This page is the standing record of what we got wrong and what we did about it.

The policy

• Factual errors are corrected, not quietly removed. The issue is amended and the correction is logged here with its date.
• Substantive corrections are marked on the issue itself, so a reader arriving from a search result sees the correction, not just the original claim.
• Prices and availability are not corrections. A price that has since moved, or an allocation that has since closed, is the market changing — the archive records what was true on the morning of publication. If a price was wrong when published, that is a correction.
• Editorial judgements are not corrected, they are revisited. A verdict we no longer hold is addressed in a later issue rather than edited out of an earlier one.

Reporting an error

Corrections can be sent to chasingtheunicornpodcast@gmail.com. Please include the issue date and the specific claim. Every report is read.
